M&S shoppers rush to snap up half-price perfume set that sees scents slashed to £2.78 - The Mirror

The high-street giant has cut the price of its top-selling perfume gift set from £50 to £25, with shoppers snapping up the gift either for themselves, or to put up for next Christmas

Fragrance fans are racing to M&S to snap up nine bottles of popular perfumes for less than £3 each. It comes as the retailer has dramatically reduced the price of its best-selling perfume gift set as part of its post-Christmas sale.

The Full Fragrance Eau de Toilette Collection usually costs £50, but was reduced to £30 at the beginning of December. Now, the set has been reduced further to £25, saving 50% on the RRP.

The collection includes nine 30ml bottles, each with a unique fragrance, including Warm Neroli, White Jasmine, Pink Pepper and more. At the new, lower price, each one works out at £2.78 each, instead of their usual £7 when purchased separately.

The retailer revealed that it’s the site’s fifth bestselling item in the last 48 hours. The set is perfect for anyone looking to treat themselves, shoppers looking to buy gifts for early 2026 birthdays, or to stow away for next Christmas either as a single gift or as affordable stocking fillers.

The set features some of the retailer’s original perfumes like Velvet Amber, Warm Neroli, spicy Pink Pepper which always reminds me of Molton Brown’s Fiery Pink Pepper, tropical White Coconut, and refreshing Fresh Mandarin.

But there are newer additions included, too, like Sweet Frangipani with tropical floral notes, nutty Sweet Pistachio which is akin to Kayali’s Yum Pistachio Gelato, and Winter Nights with hints of spice and vanilla.

Each fragrance can be worn individually or combined for custom fragrances. It’s also ideal for anyone looking to try a range of scents to find a new fragrance they like without committing to a full sized bottle.

Elsewhere, for those who prefer big name brands when it comes to perfume, Sephora is stocking this Fragrance Discovery Set, now on offer for £63.20. It contains eight mini scents from brands like Jo Malone and Prada, as well as Merit, Glossier and Who is Elijah.

Marks and Spencer's £25 Full Fragrance Eau de Toilette Collection has received plenty of positive reviews, with an average customer rating of 4.7 out of five stars. One shopper said: "They all smell lovely I was expecting 1 or 2 to be not nice, so really happy. I also ordered a couple more of them for gifts and easily picked up from a local store."

Another buyer commented: "Love this fragrance set. Purchased for gifts and both recipients were very pleased. So many scents to close from. Can be worn as an individual scent, or mixed up by layering two.”

A third added: "I have been experimenting with the cheaper perfumes I have received a few from beauty calendars so buying this set of nine was perfect to test and if i do not like them then they are perfect room sprays for the money so well done M&S it is great value for money."

One delighted shopper remarked: "Fantastic collection of beautiful fragrances and I got them in the sale, £30. I had several of the fragrances in my wishlist so when I saw this at a sale price, it made sense to buy it. Majority of the fragrances are lovely, the odd 2 that I'm unsure of, I can pass onto to my family. Great purchase, I would definitely recommend buying it."

Nevertheless, not every customer was as impressed. One disappointed purchaser stated: "I bought 2 of these collections, but unfortunately, when they arrived, one bottle was only 1/3 full. Very disappointed as they were bought as Christmas presents."

Another noted: "Bought as a present, not in store, ordered to pick up from store, arrived in box and bubble wrap, but box was still all bashed up, really disappointed. Perfume is fine and lovely."

Despite such concerns, most reviews were positive. Another shopper said: "Bought myself these for Christmas. Fantastic fragrance at an excellent price."
