As a fragrance expert with over 100 perfumes in my personal collection - and I have tried even more - I've spent years hunting for a cosy scent in a travel size. I believe I've finally found it.
Kayali is renowned for their gourmand scents, and they're one of my all-time favourite brands. They've recently reimagined their classic Musk fragrance into four different variations known as the 'Freedom' range.
This range offers something for everyone, with four different scents available in £28 10ml bottles, either individually or as a complete set for £88. They've launched exclusively on Sephora, with a 50ml (£79) and 100ml (£111) bottle of Musk Santal also being available.

After finding Sabrina Carpenter's Me Espresso (£24.99) a tad too sweet and struggling to find a 10ml bottle of Maison Margiela's Coffee Break, I felt this collection could provide the cosy scent I've been yearning for.
The set includes four perfumes:
- Freedom Musk Bouquet | 27 Eau de Parfum (powdery floral with ylang-ylang, Turkish rose and vanilla musk)
- Freedom Musk Santal | 34 Eau de Parfum (warm and sheer with sweet freesia, candied amber and musk santal)
- Freedom Musk Matcha | 45 Eau de Parfum (warm and gourmand with matcha, bergamot and sweet musk)
- Freedom Musk Latte | 41 Eau de Parfum (warm and spicy with pink pepper, café latte and chocolate musk)
Kayali Freedom Miniature Set

There are four musk inspired scents in this set
I had anticipated that either Freedom Musk Latte or Freedom Musk Matcha would be my favourite from the range, and I was spot on. The matcha perfume is everything I've been searching for. It's warm, cosy and just the right level of sweet.
The heart notes are the ones that truly resonate with me, while there is matcha in the top notes there's a heart of oat milk, praline, coffee and vanilla. As someone who enjoys an oat milk matcha or vanilla latte when I visit a coffee shop, it was like a dream come true.
The latte aroma is a close runner-up, albeit a bit spicier than I'd usually opt for. This seems to be the perfect match for Jazz Club enthusiasts (£62).
Freedom Musk Santal is bound to be popular with fans of the original musk fragrance, although I do wish it was slightly sweeter. Freedom Musk Bouquet | 27 was too powdery for my liking.
However, I believe this range is well executed as each scent is distinct enough that everyone is sure to find something they fancy.
