After weeks of early deals and bargains, Black Friday has officially begun, and there are bigger and better savings than ever. One deal to catch our eye is over at Amazon, where the Hisense 55" MiniLED QLED Smart AI TV has been slashed by a huge 57% for a limited time.
The impressive offer ends up saving you a huge £570, as the price is dropped from £999 to just £429. That makes it cheaper than the 50” version, which is priced at £449, getting you five extra inches of screen for £20 less.

The £429 price tag is for the standard 2025 U7/144Hz version of TV on its own, although you have the option of adding extras and upgrades to your deal if you want. For an additional £125 you can include TV wall mounting, and you can also add on a soundbar package, with a choice of five different models to enhance your TVs sound and give it that cinematic viewing experience.
It’s also the cheapest we’ve spotted the TV in the Black Friday sales, with Currys offering the same HISENSE U7Q 55" MiniLED 4K Smart AI TV with Freely for £593, only saving you £406. The TV has MiniLED technology, which “combines thousands of ultra-fine LEDs into hundreds of precision dimming zones, unlocking brightness, deeper contrast, and richer colours.”
It also uses AI technology to upscale your content from every input, fine-tuning each frame in real time to make brighter, higher resolution images. There’s even an automatic Game Mode Pro which kicks in when a gaming connection is detected, creating a smoother, lag-free playing experience.
Although you can choose to add a soundbar to your Hisense 55" MiniLED QLED Smart AI TV, it comes with a built-in Dolby Atmos subwoofer which amplifies sound. This gives you channel surround sound and immersive audio experiences that let you feel and hear sound from all directions.
Meanwhile, Currys has slashed the price of TOSHIBA Fire TV 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV with Amazon Alexa to just £279 (down from £349) in its “lowest price ever” sale. You can also pick up the SAMSUNG 55" Crystal 4K HDR Smart TV 2025 in the same sale, where it’s now £329 down from £449.
However the Hisense 55" MiniLED QLED Smart AI TV has been praised by Amazon shoppers, with one saying: “Superb picture and connectivity. Arc sound is repeated through to optical flawlessly.”
Another agreed: “I’ve been really impressed with every aspect of this TV. It is an exceptional piece of technology which has been a huge upgrade in my household. The TV arrived securely and very well packaged. It was easy to set up, even for an amateur like myself! There was a step by step guide which I followed on my phone using the QR code.
“The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, with bright colours that really pop. The smart features are fast and responsive. I particularly like that I can use my iPhone as the remote control. It also has this excellent feature where I can mirror my phone content on the screen. I think this is a great value TV which is also aesthetically pleasing.
“The narrow edges maximise its appeal which will add a touch of modern to any room. The sound is impressive and the built-in deep bass subwoofer adds that extra oomph, which decreases the need to add a soundbar. I highly recommend.”
Some did, however, detect some faults with the TV. One said: “Phenomenal for the money. Great sound and picture. However when I upgraded the software I now have problems with delay and jumping apps on the remote which is most annoying. Hisense please fix for 5* rating.”
Another wrote: “Was very happy with the quality but after a few weeks vertical white lines appeared. Unsure how common a fault would this is. Every port/app would show this no matter what setting was altered. Hisense agreed faulty and returned.”
However others praised the Hisense 55" MiniLED QLED Smart AI TV, writing: “Was a breeze to set up and very pleased with this 55ins TV The picture and sound quality are above what I expected. Happy days.”
