McDonald's is rollout out a new way for customers to order food - and it will save you time queuing.
The fast food chain is launching a new "order ahead" feature in its app, which allows you to order and pay ahead of time, then the app will alert your chosen restaurant as you get nearer.
This means your order should only start cooking when you're just a few minutes away. Order ahead can only be used when you're paying with the McDonald's app.
You'll need to choose your location in the app, then place your order and choose your pick up option. It works with counter pick-up, click and serve, table service and drive-thru.
Once you've completed your order, tap "pay" in the app and start heading to the restaurant. The restaurant will begin preparing your order when you're approximately three minutes away.
The only order method that won't track when you get nearer to a restaurant is if you're ordering for drive-thru.
You can still use order ahead to confirm and pay for your order in advance, but you'll need share your order code at the window in order for the restaurant to start preparing your order.
If you have chosen click and serve or table service, you'll need to park in a designated bay or find a table, then enter the number of your parking bay or table number in the app.
It comes after McDonald's introduced eight items from around the world to its UK menu for the first time.
There is the Maple BBQ and Bacon Double Quarter Pounder from Canada, which contains two quarter pounder beef patties, with maple BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, crispy onions and pickles.
The new Pineapple McSpicy comes from Australia and this features a fiery chicken burger, topped with a slice of pineapple, plus bacon, cheese and lettuce.
