People looking to upgrade their home decor in 2026 might want to consider shopping for new furniture at B&M. While it might not be the first choice for many shoppers, people are raving about the "classy" look of some items that don't come with a massive price tag to match.

The Laurel Herringbone Drinks Cabinet is available to view online at B&M, with the Β£50 price tag on display - but shoppers need to find it in their nearest store to purchase. People describe the 108cm tall unit as being "classy", and a "lovely addition" to living rooms, or wherever people may entertain guests.

The B&M website described the product: "Bring an eye-catching addition to your home with the elegant Laurel Drinks Cabinet. Featuring a natural oak-effect finish, this luxurious drinks cabinet is perfect for storing your favourite beverages and entertaining guests in style."

In the photo that B&M used to promote the furniture, which shows that the freestanding unit can hold up to 10 bottles of wine and also has a dedicated space for glasses to hang upside down. It has a small storage space underneath behind doors and also offers a little bit of space to the side of the glass holders, as well as on top of the unit itself.

The drinks unit was shared on Facebook by a user called Jane in the Bargain Lovers group. The page often shares deals from popular high street locations like Poundland, Home Bargains, The Range and more.

She posted the picture as part of a collection of images taken around her local store and captioned it as "affordable home decor from B&M". The drinks cabinet, which can hold a surprising amount, was one of the most popular posts.

One shopper called it "classy" whilst another shared a photo of it set up in their holiday home's living room, calling it a "lovely addition". A third shopper commented: "I’ve seen it and it’s gorgeous!"

A B&M shopper did admit: "We have this, it’s lovely! But it was a nightmare to put together." Instructions for assembling the unit should be included with each box and can also be found online here.

The discount store has a collection of different furniture for those wanting to have a home interior refresh as part of 2026. People can match this drinks cabinet with the same light herringbone style Laurel TV Unit (Β£70) or, for more storage, there is a Laurel 4-Drawer Chevron Chest (Β£75).

In other homeware news, shoppers are turning away from traditional furniture stores and seeing the value in items that are available at the likes of B&M and Home Bargains. One Β£25 set was branded as being 'sophisticated' in Home Bargains, with some sugesting it looked very similar to a design available for Β£150 at Next.

The 'sleek' nesting table set is described as 'perfect for maximising space' for the cost of Β£24.99. The Β£25 Home Bargains side tables could be a 'savvy' alternative for anyone who likes the look of Next's Grey Bronx Oak Effect Round Set of Two Nest of Tables, but isn't keen on paying the Β£150 price tag.
