Rachel Reeves has been the Labour MP for Leeds West since the 2010 general election.
The former Bank of England economist is also Sir Keir Starmer's Chancellor of the Exchequer, becoming the first woman to take charge of the Treasury.
She was appointed Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office by Keir Starmer in April 2020.
