Darren Jones is the Chief Secretary to the Treasury in Keir Starmer's Cabinet and the MP for Bristol North West since 2017.
He previously worked as a technology law specialist, advising on data privacy, cyber-security, telecommunications and consumer law.
He first stood as a Labour MP in 2010 in Torridge and West Devin, coming fourth.
Jones is also the chair of Labour Digital, a Labour think tank
