Love Is Blind 's Paul Peden has spoken out against the show and its host Vanessa Lachey.
β
The 29-year-old claimed that the line of questioning directed towards him during the explosive reunion episode was tinted with "personal bias" from the presenter and that there was an "interrogation" rather than an open dialogue about the past season.
β
During the reunion episode, Vanessa pressed Paul on why he had decided not to marry Micah Lussier hours before their wedding and fans were left fuming at the heated exchange.
β
The fact that Zack had to interject and defend Paul during the reunion, because Vanessa Lachey was too busy grilling him instead of Micah is INSANE," one wrote.

β
"Vanessa Lachey is the worst host ever. She needs to be replaced," a third typed.
Looking back, Paul has said that he felt Vanessa "kept drilling in" on the subject, eventually making him question her character.
"It was drilling into these things, and I don't know," he told People magazine. "In all, it's alright. I think that no matter what you say, no matter what the conversation is, your character comes through in what you say.
β
"I thought that I detected a little bit of personal bias there. I'm not sure what it was," Paul added. "And I guess she's within her right to drill on personal bias, but she shouldn't present as being an objective neutral party if that's the case.
"But I think it's fair to continue follow up questions. But if we're going to go that route, we need to be able to have a full length conversation."
β
Paul later told Entertainment Tonight that the overall conversation was "extremely reductive."
"I think it was extremely reductive in the way that they dismissed all nuance and complexity in why I said no,β he told ET. βIt was framed as, the reason that I said no was that she wasnβt able to fill a mothering role and a nurturing atmosphere and whatever.
β
"That was one piece of the puzzle. It was incredibly complex, but that was the answer. That was the reason why. And thatβs just a fraction of the story."
However, Paul later shared a bouquet of flowers on his story with a note from Vanessa, leaving fans assuming it was an apology gift.
He wrote over the snap: "Thanks for acknowledging the accidental misleading @vanessalachey."
