Vogue Williams has admitted she saw a fellow celebrity throw a "filthy little strop" after being booted off a reality TV show. The podcaster and influencer got her big break in 2015 when she appeared on, and won, Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, where she triumphed over Kelly Holmes and Mike Tindall.
The show saw a group of celebrities embark on a challenging 12-day survival expedition in a remote location, facing various obstacles such as abseiling down waterfalls, building shelters, and sourcing food and water. At the end of each stage, Bear evaluates their performance and decides who is "done" and must leave the competition.
However, the Irish presenter and podcaster, who was voted out last night from ITV's I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2025, said that she didn't get along with everybody on the programme, calling one star "ridiculous" for their reaction to being booted off the show by Bear.
Reflecting on the programme in her book Big Mouth, Vogue explained that Mission Survive was one of her first major UK TV breaks – and one she took incredibly seriously. “On Bear Grylls: Mission Survive I drank my own p*ss, ate live scorpions and roasted rats on the fire – all in the name of TV,” she recalled. “There wasn’t much I wouldn’t do to win that show and advance my career. Warm p*ss? YES PLEASE!”
But while she embraced every challenge thrown at her, she revealed not everyone handled the pressure quite as well. “Some of them on that show were just ridiculous,” she said. “I’m not here to name names but one person threw a filthy little strop for being thrown off the show, went back to the hotel and cleared out the entire mini bar in a fit of spite. GET A GRIP.”
Vogue joked that she was always prepared to look “semi-foolish” if it meant learning something or moving forward in the industry. For her, the show was about resilience – not tantrums. “How could I learn from anything if I didn’t try stuff out?” she added.
Her reflections come as she became the third celebrity to be voted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Monday, December 1, after finding herself in the bottom two alongside fellow model Kelly Brook.
The 40-year-old's departure comes after comedian Eddie Kadi was voted out on Sunday, and sports broadcaster Alex Scott was voted off on Friday night.
After her exit was announced, Vogue also opened up about some of the lingering tensions within the I’m A Celebrity camp. The model – who has been married to reality TV star Spencer Matthews since 2018 – shared: "Ginge and Aitch are a bit resistant to their chores. I don’t really understand the whole cup-gate. I just turned into what I’m like at home."
Vogue, who has Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, two, with the Made in Chelsea star Spencer, was greeted by her agent, Louisa McDonald, after leaving the Australian jungle. Spencer, 37, wasn't able to be in Australia to support his wife, because he's currently competing in an Ironman competition in Brazil.
