Pregnant Holly Hagan shared an emotional post with fans as she uploaded the Christmas present that had been from her late sister Darci, who sadly died following an accidental drug overdose. The former Geordie Shore star, 33, who is a mum to a baby boy named Alpha-Jax, posted a picture of a teddy bear which had a sweet message written on it from Darci to Alpha-Jax.
This comes just two months after her tragic death. Darci had been out with friends when she collapsed from a drug overdose at the age of 19. The teddy bear had a sweet picture of Darci and her nephew with a message that read: "My little bestie, love you always Darci."
Holly recently announced that she was pregnant with her second child with Jacob Blyth. In the series of pictures posted from Holly's Christmas Day, fans also saw her two-year-old son playing with his Christmas presents before the family sat down to enjoy their Christmas dinner.
She captioned the post with "A few from Christmas Day". Last week, Holly announced that she was pregnant with a baby girl in a heartfelt social media video.
In the video, Jacob is seen holding a confetti cannon while Holly held their son in anticipation. Both Holly and Jacob were desperately hoping to add to their brood with a baby girl.
Just before Jacob fired the cannon, she had said that she was getting "girl vibes." When Jacob fired the confetti cannon, pink confetti was revealed, meaning the couple's desire for a girl had come true.
Holly struggled to contain her emotions as she broke down in tears. Hugging Jacob in sheer, the couple then cuddled their son. Speaking to the camera, she told fans through tears: "I probably shouldn't have tried to do this video just before I was going to go out."
"Usually in the day I can take my mind off it and do other things, it does mean I can be in a different mode other than just sitting and letting myself think about it," she said.
She added: "But usually on a night that's obviously when it's really hard, really, really hard for everyone." She then explained that she was left thinking that she would not be able to return to social media following her younger sister's death.
She had hoped that she could return to work and simply "not speak about it." She continued: "But right now I feel like I'm weighted by lead,' she admitted It feels like I'm just so heavy, everything is feeling like it's ten times harder to do."
"I don't want to make this some sort of grief account, I don't want to make every video depressing and talking about it because I don't feel ready to speak about everything yet, but one day I will," she said.
Holly added: "Right now it's just so fresh. You just never think that this is going to happen. Sorry guys, I did think I'd be able to hold it together, but clearly not. "
The reality TV star went on to say: "This whole situation has felt incredibly surreal, I've felt like I'm in a film as these things only happen in films or in soaps and are over-dramatised, but to have to live through it, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy."
Holly's sister died of multiple organ failure after she took the recreational drug MDMA on a night out with friends. In October, it was reported that she mixed the drug into her drink while out at Manchester's nightspot Warehouse.
Senior coroner Mr Golombeck old the inquest: "There was a suspicion at the time that she had taken illicit drugs. This was confirmed to the clinicians."
