Interest in the ongoing feud between Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay and his estranged family is showing no sign of slowing down. But in an apparent bid to escape yet more scrutiny, the couple were notably absent at a Ramsay family trip to the Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend.Despite attending together with her dad Gordon Ramsay last year, F1 fan Holly, 25, and Adam, 30, failed to attend the event this time round. Their absence comes just days after Adam broke his silence and publicly referenced the fall out with a statement on Instagram. Insisting there were two sides to every story after his mum sensationally claimed her son was in "Gordon's clutches" he penned: "For those who know me personally, you know that I work so hard on trying to improve myself as a person who wants to contribute to making the world a better place.
"I am continuing to learn about myself and how I can be the man I want to be; a worthy partner, father, businessman, friend and athlete; even through these challenging times.
"Bethany [his sister], Holly and I will get through this - we do not ask for sympathy. We just need people to be aware that there are always two sides to every story."
Ahead of the couple's lavish wedding in Bath next month, Adam has reportedly banned his mother, Caroline, from the nuptials after a bombshell row erupted reportedly over Holly's failure to invite her future mother-in-law to her hen party.
Holly's parents, celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana, are yet to comment on the feud, however, they looked in good spirits when they were photographed at the Grand Prix in Las Vegas on Friday with their youngest daughter, Tilly. Cutting an elegant figure, sporting a long black jacket and trousers, Tana smiled alongside Gordon and Tilly at the glamourous event in Nevada.
Tickets for the F1 Grand Prix at the Las Vegas Strip circuit are highly sought after and are always snapped up by a whole host of famous faces. Other A Listers at the event included Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Naomi Campbell and Louis Tomlinson.
Caroline told the Daily Mail she felt the Ramsay family were "pulling him away". She said: "I can’t help but feel like they are pulling him away from me. Their family is very insular." Caroline also said she was at home looking after Adam's son at the time of the hen and stag dos.
Earlier this month, Adam's stag do in Hungary ended in chaos after the swimmer reportedly became alarmed after allegedly receiving "increasingly abusive and threatening" text messages, which became so concerning that Holly alerted the police. Adam's older brother, James, 34, was later arrested at his home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire and has since been bailed.
The former Strictly star was met by police officers as he landed at Manchester Airport, over fears he could be assaulted. A pal told The Sun: "The issues that have been reported don't stem from hen do or wedding invitations; it goes so much deeper. "Things escalated over the weekend when someone became increasingly abusive and threatening over text. Adam was trying to enjoy his stag do and was getting freaked out by it all."
"He then received a threat that he'd be met off the plane. He told Holly, who called the cops after consulting with her family."
The couple are due to wed at Bath Abbey on 27 December and there sadly seem to be no signs of the rift between Adam and his family ending any time soon.
