Shirley Ballas has hilariously responded to La Voix following her comments about her on live TV ahead of their Strictly Come Dancing reunion.
The show's head judge and the 2025 series contestant will soon be touring the country together as they both join the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2026 tour, which kicks off at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on January 23 before visiting arenas across the UK.
To promote the upcoming string of shows, which include dates at Manchester's AO Arena, La Voix appeared on This Morning alongside Vicky Pattison and George Clarke who will also be heading out on the road.
Host Ben Shephard was keen to bring up the recent departures of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman from the BBC One dane show, as he observed: "There is an opportunity, there is an opening..." to which La Voix replied: "There is..." as it comes after they had been amongst those being suggested to replace the co-hosts.
She went on: There's two openings. Don't forget the second one. There's two jobs going." Ben replied: "OK, so you'd take either?" to which La Voix responded: "I would," adding: "And that's why I'm keeping in with Shirley [Ballas], because I think she might be quite influential with the choice of voting."
La Voix had brought with her to the studio Shirley’s autobiography, Best Foot Forward: Life Lessons from the World of Dance, which she then pulled out from behind the pillow and gifted the copy to This Morning's Cat Deeley and even signed the front page. "It’s worth a lot more money now!" she quipped.
When Cat suggested she might have her own copy, La Voix quipped "Well, sell that! It was only 50p in a bargain bin, so you can have that from me."
Now, Shirley has shared a clip of the exchange on her Instagram account, with a message across it reading: "When your biggest fan takes your new book onto morning television." She also captioned the post: "It was going so well until the end… ok that 2 is going to a 1 on tour just saying @lavoixtheshow."
The comments section was quickly awash with crying laughing emojis as fans shared their responses. chlruss83 said: "She's brilliant!" @abbieaj commented: "She's quite brilliant. Someone needs to give her a job on Strictly." @poppytransfusion replied: "#lavoixtheshow, gift that keeps giving!" @joanrichardson399 added: "Would love La Voix to replace Claudia."
