Beauty fans can save more than £85 on high end makeup and skincare from brands like Elemis, Pixi and Nars as part of a brand new beauty box deal. High street favourite, Boots, has launched their Valentines Day Mixed Box, which is worth more than four times the price you pay.
Coming in at £27, the edit is worth £115.50, containing six products across makeup, fragrance and skincare. Of the six products, half of them are full sized, with customers saving a total of £88.50 compared to buying them individually.
Curated to ‘pamper, uplift, and illuminate’, the haul makes for the ultimate gift to give someone special this February 14 - though we certainly won’t judge if you keep it for yourself. The edit hit the virtual shelves today (January 21), and if previous edits are anything to go by, it’s expected to sell out quickly.
One of the highlights of the box has to be the Elemis Pro Collagen Rose Marine Cream, which despite being a travel-sized product, is actually worth £37 on its own. The popular anti-ageing cream was launched in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the OG Pro Collagen Marine Cream and has been just as well-loved by skincare enthusiasts, as seen in its near-perfect 4.8-star rating on the Boots website.
The powerful moisturiser features the same iconic texture, anti-ageing benefits, and hero Padina Pavonica extract, but with a soothing rose scent. According to Elemis, the advanced formula is ‘clinically proven to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 2 weeks’ and helps to improve the look of firmness and elasticity.
One shopper said: “Love the way the creams feel on my face, I am 74 and people think I'm in my sixties I'll take that lol if you don't use their products try them you won't regret it.” However, some have been put off by the rose fragrance, commenting: “Not as nice as the original, scent too strong for face.”
Though another added: “I thought I had tried some of the best creams on the market but this one is definitely in a league of its own. It feels amazing and I only used it for the first time this morning.”
It’s not the only impressive inclusion, though. Skincare fans will be thrilled to see the Pixi Vitamin-C Tonic, which is worth £18. For makeup enthusiasts, there’s an Iconic London Sheer Blush in shade Rose Riot and NYX Professional Makeup Butter Gloss Bling Lip Gloss, though some might be disappointed at the doubling up of blushers, with there also being a NARS Blush 1.2G mini featured.
Rounding off the edit is a mini 10ml bottle of Ghost Deep Night Eau De Toilette. The popular fragrance features notes of Indian rose and peach alongside vanilla orchid and a woody base, which earns wearers many a compliment.

Rivalling the Boots edit is LookFantastic, whose Valentine’s edit launched earlier this week. Starring everything from iconic fragrance to premium skincare essentials, the stunning seven-piece collection is worth £195 and includes five full-size products and two deluxe-size samples. Coming in at £50, it’s pricier than Boots’ edit, but it does save £145, with one product being worth more than the price you pay for the entire edit.
In other beauty deals, The Luxe Edit Beauty Box at Next has a total value of £228, but is priced at £50, saving around 78% on the RRP. Inside are eight beauty and skincare treats, including five full sized products designed to refresh your regime and your skin for the New Year.
M&S also has the Beauty Wellness Box, priced at £30. This contains 10 products that have a combined value of over £100, which work out at £3 each as part of the deal. Inside, shoppers will find a range of wellness classics and new launches, including luxuriously rich creams, a restorative hair treatment, a self-care beauty tool, calming candle, restful fragrance, and more.
