The St .Tropez Tan Luxe Body Serum boasts an overall star-rating of 4.1 out of five from over 1,820 reviews on Amazon. One customer said: "My favourite tan. Love the fact it is serum based as I find the foam tans clog my pores and don’t look nice on my skin. Will always buy this."

Somebody else said: "This tan is absolutely beautiful, the formula feels hydrating and glides on the skin like a breeze. The colour is more of a true brown/olive tan rather than dodgy orange.
"It lasts a good week (especially if you moisturise daily) and when it does start coming off, it more fades gradually than patchy. Its quite pricy but worth every penny... you get what you pay for. This is a beautiful product that I will happily buy time and time again."
One shopper, however, hailed the St .Tropez Tan Luxe Body Serum as 'good' but it 'didn't blow [them] away'. Their three-star review reads: "I love a fake tan so when I saw how cheap this was I thought I would give it a go. Tan never seems to last on me and always goes on patchy. However this one didn’t. It’s clear so there’s no staining of bed sheets and clothes and it has a pleasant smell to it too. Not like the normal wet biscuit smell.
"It didn’t blow me away as it started to fade really quickly. I would say within three days. Also as it’s clear there’s no colour guide to see where you have already placed the product so you may need to come up with a good tanning plan. However if you thinking about it, because of the current price I say go for it."
But another loved their latest Amazon beauty purchase, adding: "I just had to write a review because I was so impressed with this. Unlike old-school fake tan which would often go smeary or streaky and have a funny smell, I mix a few drops of this with some body and face moisturiser and I'm good to go. The only streaks I've experienced were when I didn't wash my hands properly after applying it. If you're looking for a new fake tan, this might just be it."
