Oxton is a village in the suburb of Birkenhead, situated in the north-east side of the Wirral Peninsula. The village is very Victoria era with a lot of sandstone and brick built houses - with some of the buildings being Grade II listed by English Heritage. It is home to the Michelin-starred restaurant Fraiche. Oxton is part of the Birkenhead parliamentary constituency, with Mick Whittley currently their MP.
