Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a series of early morning assault incidents in Dublin.


Officers have launched an investigation after a number of assault incidents in Malahide village at around 9:10am on Wednesday, January 14.


Gardaí have said that investigations are ongoing as they appealed for anyone with any information to contact authorities.


A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí responded to report of a number of assault incidents in Malahide village at approximately 9:10am on the 14 of January 2026.

“Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed these incidents, and was in the Malahide area between 9am and 9:20am, to contact them.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Coolock Garda Station on 01 666 4200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station. Investigations are ongoing.”
