Family's tribute to man who died after crash on Ladysmith Road - Grimsby Live

Peter Grant-Lloyd was 'loyal to those close to him'

A family have paid tribute to a man who tragically died following a crash in Grimsby. Peter Grant-Lloyd, 60, died after the incident on Ladysmith Road on January 3.

He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since sadly died. At the time of the incident, a Humberside Police spokesperson said: "At around 2.30pm it was reported a red Peugeot was travelling down Ladysmith Road before colliding with a parked blue Vauxhall."

Mr Grant-Lloyd's family have now paid tribute to him. In a statement released through the police, they said: "We are heartbroken as a family at the loss of Pete, it was sudden and unexpected. He was a friend to a few but loyal to those close to him.

"He was by no means perfect but will be greatly missed by all who cared for him."

His family are being supported by specially-trained officers. Humberside Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
