Bishop's Cleeve are set to complete the signing of former Cheltenham Town winger Zack Kotwica on Thursday.

The 30-year-old broke into the Robins' first team under Mark Yates' management in 2013.

He made nine EFL starts, along with a further 26 substitute appearances, scoring twice, including a stunning strike in a 1-1 draw at Mansfield Town. He also found the net against Luton Town in a 1-1 home draw.

Kotwica, who is from Gloucester, appeared on loan for Cleeve to build senior experience early in his career, along with temporary spells at Gloucester City and Cirencester Town.

After leaving Cheltenham in 2016, Kotwica made the permanent switch to Gloucester, followed by spells at Tamworth and Salisbury, returning to the Tigers in 2018.

He joined Swindon Supermarine in 2020, before switching to Hungerford last summer. His former Hungerford team mate Harry Williams joined Paul Collicutt's Cleeve last week.

The sixth-placed Mitres play Westbury United at home in Southern League Division One South on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
