A crash caused heavy delays on one of Gloucestershire's busiest roads this evening (Wednesday, January 14).
The A419 was partly blocked on the southbound side due to a crash near Cirencester, with reports that police were diverting traffic at the busy junction linking with the Spine Road.
Traffic-monitoring site Inrix reported: "The A419 southbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at Cirencester Road (Ampney Down turn off)."
The A419 has since cleared. Emergency services have been contacted for further information.

17:22 - Police 'diverting traffic'
One coach passenger who passed the scene said the location was just past Cirencester, between South Cerney and Cricklade, reporting heavy traffic.
Another motorist said two or three cars appeared to be involved at the Spine Road turn-off, with police on scene. Cars were being diverted off via the 'on' slip road, the witness added.
