Football legend Chris Kamara was spotted at a popular Indian restaurant in the west end of the city, leaving staff delighted.

The former English pro, known for his hilarious highlights on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday, enjoyed a meal at Mister Singh's India on Glasgow's Elderslie Street. He posed alongside staff members Oleg and Jordan who "couldn't resist" asking the star for a picture.

Posting online, the restaurant wrote: "What a pleasure it was to have the one and only Chris Kamara in. Oleg and Jordan couldnβt resist a quick picβ¦ now lads, back to the graft". The caption was followed by the hashtag #legendinthebuilding.

Locals rushed to the comments, one wrote: "Fab photo - Chris sampling the best Indian restaurant in Glasgow ", another added: "What a legend, and a gentleman, had the pleasure of meeting him at Upton Park in the press lounge, such a nice guy."
A third joked with one of his well-known catchphrases: "Unbelievable!"
Earlier this month, Chris was spotted at Celtic Park on Old Firm day, sitting alongside grime legend Stormzy and Sir Rod Stewart. Taking to X post match he wrote: "An Old Firm game ticked off the bucket list. Not many to go now. Big thanks to CelticFC for looking after myself and my boys Ben and Jack. Celtic great 1st half & Rangers electric and transformed in the 2nd half. Met Stormzy, top bloke."
In 2022, Chris revealed he was living with apraxia of speech, a neurological condition that affected his voice and contributed to his departure from live Sky Sports work. He has since continued to appear on television and has spoken publicly about his ongoing recovery.
