Specialist forensics have combed a section of cordoned-off woodland in Emley following a discovery of human remains.
Officers descended on a wooded area off Kiln Lane on Wednesday evening (January 14). It followed a call from a worker who was clearing the land when bones were discovered at around 4.20pm.
Forensics and specialists dealing with bone fragments were called in to examine the grim finds before they were sent off to the laboratory for testing.
