Two teenagers have been charged with a number of offences after an alleged assault in Ilkeston.
Police were called to reports of a teenage boy being attacked by two people at a property in Muskham Avenue, Cotmanhay, Ilkeston, at 8.30pm on January 13.
It is understood that the teenage victim suffered two stab wounds and was taken to hospital. Police say he is expected to make a full physical recovery.
A second man in his 20s suffered a minor slash wound on his hand from a knife. He is also expected to make a full physical recovery.
The teenagers have now been charged and were both remanded in police custody.
Elijah Robinson, 19, of Deepfields Drive, Shipley, Heanor, has been charged with Section 18 grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, and driving without insurance.
A 17-year-old from the Ripley area, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possession of a knife in public.
The pair will appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistratesβ Court today (January 15).
