Coventry is bracing for a soaking as the Met Office has warned 'heavy and prolonged' downpours are ahead. While there are no official warnings in place across our area yet, the latest local forecast shows that a band of heavy rain is heading our way later today (January 15).
β
It is due to sweep in from mid morning and last until mid afternoon. The band of rain is spreading northeastwards, the forecast says. By the late evening the rain is set to clear.
β
Tomorrow (January 16) is set to be drier but the rain is set to make another appearance towards the end of the weekend and into the start of next week.
