Bedworth is a market town in Warwickshire in the borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth. It has a population of 32,000. Formerly a mining community, Bedworth is the home of London 2012 Olympics showjumping gold medallist Nick Skelton. Pete Doherty, frontman of bands The Libertines and Babyshambles, was educated at Bedworth’s Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College, one of the largest schools in Warwickshire.
