It replaces a popular cocktail bar and nightclub which closed just weeks ago

A brand new Chinese restaurant is opening its doors in Bristol 'soon'. Fresh Feast, which currently boasts branches in London and Cardiff, looks set to be opening up shop on Bristol's Park Street, though no opening date has been confirmed as of yet.
Born in Linyi and described as a 'modern Chinese dining brand specialising in sauerkraut fish, fiery stir-fried chicken, and signature grilled skewers', Fresh Feast 'blends authentic Sichuan flavours with British dining preferences', according to information on its website. It offers a Pan-Asian feast perfect for sharing, with a range of spicy and non-spicy options.
According to signage beginning to go up in place at the Park Street location, Fresh Feast will not only offer 'fine dining', but also a cocktail bar and karaoke.
The menu boasts a variety of small plates, mains, and desserts, including the likes of crispy aromatic duck, wontons, prawn toast, squid, pork strips, bao and dumplings, curry, soups, noodles, and more. The new venue is reportedly due to be located in what was formerly Marquee Bar, a cocktail bar which announced its closure back in December.
In a post to Instagram on December 19, 2025, the cocktail bar and nightclub venue wrote: "Marquee Cocktail Bar & Nightclub has now been acquired for re-development and will be closing its doors. We are truly grateful to everyone who has supported us over the past four years, celebrated with us and made Marquee what it was."
According to recent reviews of the Cardiff Fresh Feast restaurant, one reviewer described their experience by saying: "If you’re looking to kick your Chinese food craving in town, be sure to check out Fresh Feast. This place has an insanely good menu, which we had the pleasure of getting to try nearly all of it...
"Just like its name everything served was incredibly fresh, and it was so so flavourful. Please note the portions were so good we had to bring backup and take some home. Be sure to check this place out if you’re craving some authentic Chinese grub in the centre of town. They also have a great lunch set menu which is super affordable."
