Bristol City beat an injury-hit Norwich City side 2-0 at Carrow, with strikes from Anis Mehmeti and Nahki Wells stealing the points away from the Canaries.
Mehmeti opened the scoring in the 16th minute, receiving the ball from Haydon Roberts and working it onto his left foot before slotting into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box.
The Robins saw out the first period well, staving off flashes from their opponents who forced a couple of saves out of Max O'Leary but not letting the Yellows do much with ball thanks to their structured press.
In the second half, the Reds' Bermudian talisman lashed home a fierce shot into the top corner in the 63rd minute with another swift attack from Liam Manning's men, doubling their lead with half an hour to go.
Norwich tried their best to respond to the Robins' two goal but could only come close through a Shane Duffy header which bounced off the top of the bar.
It was a perfect response to Tuesday night's late defeat to Sheffield United from Manning's side as they made it back-to-back wins away from home.

15:55 - By the way...
...how nice is it not to have any injury-enforced first half substitutes?!
15:54 - First half thoughts
A very solid half, then, from the Robins.
Manning's side have set up well and pressed with purpose, not allowing the Canaries to play and forcing erros out of the hosts. O'Leary has had more to do than Norwich keeper Long, but the Reds' shot-stopper hasn't had anything to strenuous.
It's pretty flat here noise-wise at Carrow Road so it's important the Robins see this one out with quality and maturity as they did at Preston last weekend.
15:50 - Half time
A good half from the Robins who lead by a goal at the break.
A few boos ring out from some of the home supporters.

Norwich's Schwartau darts in and out whilst driving at the box, but Knight stands strong to win it back and prevent the danger.

Duffy heads behind
Norwich send a deep corner ball to the back post but Duffy's pulled back header evades everyone and bounces out for a goal kick.

McGuane blazes it
McGuane finds space on the left after another turnover in the centre of the park, but midfielder blasts what we can assume was a cross high and wide with his left foot.

City press working
The Robins' high press is proving pretty successful so far as they force the hosts into a few mistakes.
Norwich's heads are down after conceding early and their misplaced passes aren't helping.
