Hello and welcome to today's (August 5) live blog as Bristol City, Bristol Rovers and clubs across the EFL continue to add to their ranks during the summer transfer window.
It's a new week as Bristol City get their Championship campaign away at Sheffield United on Saturday, while Rovers' League Two season got off to a disappointing start with a 1-0 defeat at home to Harrogate Town.
The Gas did bring in two new strikers last week though. Former forward and academy graduate Ellis Harrison has returned to the Mem while the Pirates have also made a slightly unorthodox signing, bringing in Fabrizio Cavegn from Swiss second division side FC Vaduz.
City were also active last week, signing goalkeeper Radek Vitek on loan from Manchester United. They have also brought in Emil Riis, Adam Randall and Joe Lumley.
There have been plenty of done deals across the entire EFL as City's Championship and Rovers' League Two rivals continue to be busy in the market over the final month of the window. We will bring you live updates here throughout the day regarding transfer activity throughout the EFL.
