Bristol City climbed back to within a place of the play-offs with a 2-0 win over Stoke City on Wednesday evening at Ashton Gate.
A brace from Anis Mehmeti was enough to ensure all three points remained in the West Country, with the Albanian international scoring once in each half.
The former Wycombe Wanderers man opened the scoring with a close-range finish following a smart interchange between Scott Twine and Mark Sykes, before finding the net for the 11th time this season with an impressive half-volley midway through the second period.
Although Mark Robins' Potters had spells of possession, they were unable to truly test Max O'Leary in the City net as the Reds comfortably secured their first win in three Championship matches.
The Robins have another chance to leap into the top six on Saturday when they face Severnside rivals Cardiff City in South Wales.
Before that however, you can recap all the action as it happened at Ashton Gate here...

That's all for tonight!
We're going to sign off for the night. It was great to get a first proper taste of Ashton Gate under the lights and what a performance to accompany the occasion.
We'll have more reaction from last night's game in the morning so stay tuned.

Liam Manning's reaction
Liam Manning has conducted his post-match media duties and made a new Anis Mehmeti claim after his brace tonight.

Player ratings have landed
Anis Mehmeti may have stolen the headlines, but to a man Bristol City were excellent as they secured a 2-0 win over Stoke City this evening.

KEY EVENT
Full-time: Bristol City 2 - 0 Stoke City
An Anis Mehemti double secures the win for the Robins. That was as comfortable as Bristol City have been over the last few month and while the Potters were poor, Liam Manning's side were excellent.
We'll have reaction as it comes from Ashton Gate here...
90+2Daniel Carter
McGuane booked
Marcus McGuane is into the referee's book for a foul in front of the Dolman Stand. Stoke will swing this in.
90+1Daniel Carter
Five minutes added
City have looked solid since the second goal but we've got a fair bit of injury time here.

Another City change
Geogr Tanner is the latest player to be introduced as he replaces Ross McCrorie who has been excellent this evening.
84Daniel Carter
Foul by Yu
Hirakawa gets a bit toon much of his man just inside the Stoke half and gives away a free-kick. He's looked bright again.
80Daniel Carter
City change
Max Bird's evening is over and Marcus McGuane takes to the field. City are happy with a two-goal cushion and they should be.

Vyner clears again
Stoke look to break and through a heap of bodies, Vyner smashes the ball to safety. It hasn't always been pretty back there, but it has been effective.
79Daniel Carter
Wells forces big save
Bird inadvertantly flicks a ball into the path of Wells who rushes into the box and fires away with his left foot. He connects well, but the Stoke stopper is equal to it.
77Daniel Carter
Hirakawa forces a big save!
That looked like number three. Hirakawa stabs a shot goalward and it looks destined for the bottom corner but Johansson gets down well to save at close range.
76Daniel Carter
Stoke change
Al-Hamadi is off and Tezqel is on in his place.

GOAL! BRISTOL CITY 2 - 0 Stoke [Mehmeti]
The lead is doubled! Bird's corner is nodded down by Dickie at the back post and Mehmeti runs onto the ball without breaking his stride to thunder a ball into the top corner. No keeper is ever stopping that.
73Daniel Carter
Penalty appeals waved away
Mehmeti goes to ground after a sliding challenge in the penalty area and the whole ground, including Manning, want a spot kick. The referee is unmoved however and after another passage of play, City get a corner.
69Daniel Carter
McCrorie crosses
A long ball is latched onto by McCrorie who bashes his man off the ball and breaks to the byline. He tries to cutback to Earthy but the West Ham loanee can't get a shot away.
68Daniel Carter
Cornick chants have started in Section 82
The corner of Ashton Gate want to see their man take to the field again.
67Daniel Carter
Well watched by Vyner
Lowe looks to run in behind the Bristol City backline but Vyner stretches his legs and beat him to the ball.
Stoke make a double change with Koumas and Junho on for Lowe and Gibson.
65Daniel Carter
Earthy goes close!
City look good when they go forward and the West Ham loanee does well to get a foot on a pass that was smashed into his path. He can't quite get a shot away but does nearly find Nahki Wells.
63Daniel Carter
Gone to a back four
The back four is back, you can all stop asking me to ask Manning about formations. McCrorie has come over the right flank and Roberts has moved to left-back.
60Daniel Carter
Triple City change
Armtrong, Sykes and Twine make way for Hirakawa, Wells and Earthy.
59Daniel Carter
Hirakawa ready as well
It could even be three changes on the way...
58Daniel Carter
Double City change on the way
Both Nahki Wells and George Earthy are getting ready to come on. I imagine Manning is managing minutes with Cardiff around the corner.
57Daniel Carter
Break in play
Ross McCrorie and a Stoke player are both down with head injuries. McCrorie is a tough nut and plays on but the Stoke man is getting some treatment.
53Daniel Carter
Another Stoke yellow
Ben Gibson is next in the book as he goes flying into Scott Twine on the halfway line. That was a nasty, nasty challenge.
49Daniel Carter
Dickie goes close
The defender will be kicking himself. He loses his marker, gets up well, connects with his header which looks destined for the corner... only to miss the target. He probably should be scoring there.
48Daniel Carter
City free-kick
Mehmeti wins the Robins a free-kick in front of Section 82 with some smart work. It isn't in shooting range but the crowd are chanting Twine's name.
47Daniel Carter
Good interception from Knight
The City skipper does well to work across and block Al-Hamadi's cross as the away side look to break. They look a bit brighter in the early stages of this half.
46Daniel Carter
Back underway
The second half is underway at Ashton Gate. City will want a second to settle any nerves as they have been on top so far.
Daniel Carter
Both teams back out
No changes for City at the break but Tchmadeu is on for Seko.
