Huge student hub will change views across Bristol

Developers have submitted plans for what will be the first major student accommodation development in South Bristol.

The plans, submitted to Bristol City Council last month, are part of the Bedminster Green regeneration project, which could see large-scale developments on a number of sites either side of the main A38, between East Street and Bedminster train station.

One plan for flats, homes and a multi-storey car park just off Malago Road at Little Paradise has already been approved - you can read more about that here.

Other plans for St Catherine's Place shopping centre and next door to it are currently going through planning, as is a scheme to build seven tower blocks on the other side of Malago Road, at the former Pring and St Hill site.

Now, another of the Bedminster Green developers, Sydney Freed Holdings (SFH) have submitted a planning application for the land it owns.

And, of all the various applications, SFH have created the most detailed visual impressions of what its plan will look like, seen from all over Bedminster.
