If you enjoy good service, then Karen's Diner is NOT the place for you! The infamous Aussie restaurant is launching a pop-up in Grand Central in Birmingham from Friday, September 2.

It's branded as 'great food, terrible service!' It is quite possible that servers will throw menus at customers, shove meals onto the table and sit and chat with fellow staff while you try to get their attention.

And definitely don't expect a smile from staff. Staff at this burger joint are deliberately rude - and they want their customers to be rude back.

But now you know all about the service, or lack of, what about the food? The menu features dirty American burgers, fries, classic USA shakes and cocktails. There's also vegetarian and vegan options - but diners are warned not to expect Karen to be happy about it!

Among the items on the Karen's Diner burger menu is 'The Basic Karen'. The £12 burger, which is served with fries or salad, is a Wagyu beef burger with American cheese, tomato, oak lettuce, beetroot and garlic mayo.

The £15 'I Want To See The Manager Karen' is two Wagyu beef patties, two slices of manager cheese, bacon, lettuce, pickles and manager BBQ-mustard sauce. While a 'Fiery Karen', which costs £13, is Wagyu beef patty served with onion rings, cheese, jalapenos, iceberg lettuce and Karen's spicy mayo.

If it is a chicken burger you fancy then there's the 'Karen's Best Breast'. For £12 it is grilled chicken breast, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado and spicy mayo sauce.

There's also two vegan burgers - the 'Vegan Karen' and the 'Oktoberfest Karen'. The 'Vegan Karen' is plant-based smashed patty, vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, avocado and vegan aioli sauce - while the 'Oktoberfest Karen' is plant-based vegan schnitzel, vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato and vegan aioli sauce.

Also featured on the menu is the Karen's Chicken Bingo Wings, where you can have five for £6 or 10 for £10. You can choose to have them coated with either honey BBQ sauce or buffalo sauce, with a side of blue cheese or ranch sauce.

Sides include loaded cheesy beef brisket fries and bacon and chicken fries. While, desserts include a 'Karen's Seasonal Waffle Bowl' or 'Karen's Marvellous Churro Surprise'.

You can also order a Thickshake - chocolate, Oreo, strawberry, vanilla or salted caramel - as well soft drinks, floats, beers and wines. Their cocktail menu includes a range of 'Karen's - including the 'Spicy Karen', 'Karen After Dark' and the 'Sour Karen'.

And finally, with some hilarious names, you can try some of their alcoholic shooters. Why not try 'I've Been Waiting 10 Minutes For Some Service'? Or what about 'The Potty Karen'.
