No it was not a dream.
Steven Spielberg was in Birmingham yesterday. And like one of his killer sequels, he's back today.
The man who was behind the camera for Hollywood epics such as Jaws, ET, Jurassic Park and Bridge of Spies, was is currently filming in Digbeth.
The shoot for new sci-fi thriller Ready Player One is expected to be filmed in the city all week.
The movie is set to feature Simon Pegg, Mark Rylance, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn and Hannah John-Kamen.
More filming is expected to take place in the Jewellery Quarter with road closures already announced.
