'Gorgeous' new role play village with a double decker bus opens at a farm shop near Birmingham - Birmingham Live

Looking for somewhere new to take your little one?


How about a double decker play bus set within a role play village at a lovely farm shop in Worcestershire?


Children are invited aboard the bus at the Little Daydreams Role Play Café where they can sit in the driver's seat, cook up pretend meals in the kitchen, climb into the bedroom and bathroom or through to the cosy mini garden and work bench.


And the upper deck has a magical sensory room entered through the bottom of a tree.

It boasts a mini sitting room, inviting children to cosy up with a good book, quiet play, puzzles and games.

Little Daydreams at The Farm Shop at Ombersley had a soft opening just before Christmas and is now in full swing for the new year.

Parents are already commenting on social media saying 'how gorgeous', 'amazing' and 'so cute'.


In the outdoor play village, there's a little ice cream shed, garden kitchen, flower shop, vets, sand shed, car wash and bump track.

Kids can unleash their artistic sides in the messy play room, encouraging sensory exploration where they can make, paint and create.

And, coming soon, is a Little Forest Retreat - a versatile 40-foot container space, with a private outdoor area where children can learn and grow through nature-based activities.


Co-owner Sarah Atkins said: "Little Daydreams Roleplay Café is a vibrant and inclusive community hub where families of all backgrounds feel welcomed and supported.

"We provide a safe, clean and stimulating environment where children can unleash their imaginations, explore their interests and develop crucial social skills through the power of play.

"We believe in empowering parents and fostering a strong sense of community, offering a space for connection, support and shared experiences."

Parents can enjoy coffee and cake from neighbouring Magnolia's coffee shop, which offers toasties in its converted barn or takeaways to enjoy at the play village.


And the farm shop has a deli, fruit and vegetables, traditional butchers, seasonal products and homemade cakes and sweet treats.

She added: "At Little Daydreams, imaginations ignite, friendships flourish and learning comes naturally.

"Our child-led philosophy empowers children, allowing them to explore, discover and grow at their own rhythm through captivating flow play sessions….all the while the adults can relax with a great cup of coffee."
