"Literally nobody wants Bounty easter eggs"

Easter is over which means plenty of us will be already full on chocolate and sweets. And it seems shoppers decided to avoid Tesco's £9 eggs after dubbing them "vile".
The expensive Easter eggs have been sitting on shelves and people have been taking notice. Pictures of shelves full of Bounty Easter Eggs have been circulating on social media, reports the MEN.
Posting on Twitter on Easter Monday, one social media user, @ThisIsntNath, shared a picture of a shelf full of Bounty Easter Eggs. The shelves are packed full of the eggs, which are on offer for £9 for Clubcard holders (or £12 if you don't have one).

The social media user wrote: "Literally nobody wants Bounty easter eggs." Oop. The post didn't go unnoticed by other social media users, who quickly rushed to slam the controversial eggs. @tinyfluffs wrote: "I wouldn't pay 9 quid for it. Maybe 3." @ThisIsntNath replied: "Tesco should be paying *me* to eat a Bounty tbh."
@Xecotcovach slammed: "No one wants their hollow chocolate egg tainted by coconut." @Artidoxx said: "Anyone who likes coconut is a psychopath." On Reddit, another person posted a similar picture, writing: " People voting with their wallets."
One person responded: " £9!?!? Nine! Quid! I love a bounty, but nine Great British Pounds!?!? Do one, Tesco." Somebody else replied: "I'll take one away for £9! Oh wait they want you to pay them?!" Another disgusted Tesco shopper commented: "9 quid for the leftovers of a celebrations tin." While somebody else wrote: "Making a Bounty Easter egg is the equivalent of hiring Jabba the Hutt as a ring girl." Yet another hater simply wrote: "Vile."
However, some people did rock up to defend the Bounty. One fan praised: "I love bounty. You are all weird." Another exclaimed: "Bounty bars are actually my favourite. I'd consider buying one but the price is making my eyes melt out of their sockets."
