X Factor hopeful Che Chesterman has boasted on live TV that he will win the ITV talent show.

The Essex native once again wowed Simon Cowell, Rita Ora, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw during the Six Chair Challenge.

X Factor judges give Che Chesterman yet another standing ovation... could he be this year's winner?

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, the once nervous and shy former Tesco employee gave his new confident views, saying: "Yeah, yeah... I want to win. I think I'm going to win."

As Nick's boys faced the brutal Six Chair Challenge last night, Che had no problem impressing the judges.

Viewers saw that Cheryl was first to jump to her feet following his performance, followed closely by her co-stars.

Che revealed why he's so confident now.

"If I don't have that attitude then there is no point being in the competition," he says. "Having said that the talent this year is unbelievable, especially with the Overs."

He adds: "My dad taught me how to sing originally. He was a singer and my granddad was too. He taught me the basics and I went from there."

Speaking about the competition, he continues: "I don't think you can deny that I had a real advantage going last in a way. I got to see how everyone else performed and I could do it differently and I could do it better."

But Che says that Mason is simply misunderstood. The singer tells ITV viewers: "I think the fact that he didn't get screen time annoyed him, the horrible thing is that he is really a nice guy. It got to him a bit. He would have got a chair because his performance was brilliant - it was one of those moments where you look away. It was a bit silly."

Speaking about his mentor he adds: "Nick is brilliant. He is so fun to be around, to have someone uplifting around you, is great."

Last week, the teen wowed the judges when he performed Jessie J's Who You Are during his big entrance to the show.

"You are one of those rare finds we are lucky to get on this year's X Factor. Your voice is beautiful and stunning," X Factor boss Simon said afterwards.

Impressed Rita also commented: "Your falsetto is out of control. You really surprised me, and taught me never to judge a book by its cover."
