Bournemouth have pulled off a coup by agreeing a whirlwind, £8m deal for Tyrone Mings.
The Cherries have pipped three of their new Premier League rivals to land the Ipswich left-back for a club record fee.
Aston Villa, West Brom and Newcastle were keen on the 22 year-old, who can also play centre back.
But top flight new boys Bournemouth won the race for former Arsenal target Mings’s signature after having a bid, submitted on Wednesday night, accepted.
Scottish winger Ryan Fraser, 21, will go the other way and spend the season on loan at Ipswich.
