Sunderland face a daunting trip to Manchester City on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
Sunderland survived by the skin of their teeth thanks to some patented Big Sam magic and will be hoping to look up rather down heading into the 2016/17.
But who will they be playing and when?
After the trip to the Etihad, Sam Allardyce's men face their first north-east derby with Middlesbrough at the Stadium of Light.

As ever they will be looking towards the games against other teams in the bottom half as they look to gain advantage in the battle for safety, especially with bitter rivals Newcastle now in the Championship.
