Philip Hammond was the Conservative MP for Runnymede and Weybridge from 1997 until 2019, when he stepped down.
He was Chancellor of the Exchequer in Theresa May's cabinet from July 2016 until July 2019. He quit when Boris Johnson became Prime Minister.
